Reduce your caffeine intake
Research shows that consuming too much caffeine while trying to conceive can increase your risk of miscarriage. Research shows that this is true for both women and men. Too much caffeine during pregnancy has also been shown to be harmful to the developing baby. If you are planning to conceive, you and your partner should consider limiting your caffeine intake to 200 mg per day.
Stop drinking alcohol
Binge drinking or binge drinking is defined as regularly consuming (drinking) alcohol in excess of recommended amounts. Excessive alcohol consumption is associated with reduced fertility in both men and women. Alcohol consumption during pregnancy increases the risk of complications. This is especially true in the first three months of pregnancy as the baby’s brain develops during these months.
